Self-Registration and OneRoster Users
Teachers can continue to use their self-registered accounts all year. Students must be registered to an active class to access the Big Ideas Math online resources. An active class has an end date that is not in the past. Teachers can create new classes for the summer or extend the expiration date on existing classes so their students can access the content over the summer.
Single sign-on, Canvas, Classlink, & Schoology Users
Your district may pause their sync with the Big Ideas Math application after the school year ends. Prior to pausing, they'll want to ensure that users and sections that need access are still shared. Big Ideas Math will continue to sync daily with the data that was last shared prior to the district pausing the sync.
If students are shared, they'll also need to be assigned to an active class in order to see any content. An active class is a class that is shared and has not reached it's end date. If you continue to share expired classes or your classes have archived, please see our article here on how to extend those.
