A student ID is a unique set of characters assigned to each student within a school district. It allows teachers and admins to locate your account and to add you to classes.
If you are a student trying to register an account and you receive an error that your student ID is already in use, please confirm you are entering the correct ID. If your student ID is correct and the system says it is already in use, please sign in with your existing account or contact your Technology department if you have never registered and think another student may have accidentally used that same ID.
Students who previously self-registered should keep their credentials every year they use the Big Ideas Math program. Each year, students should log in with their credentials at BigIdeasMath.com, click on their name at the top of the website, and then click Add Class to add the new class access code provided by their teacher. Registering for new classes in this manner will ensure the accessibility of students' data from previous years and avoid duplicate accounts.
