Single sign-on, Canvas, ClassLink, and Schoology Users
If your district uses one of these methods and you have forgotten your password, please reach out to your Tech department for assistance.
Self-Registration Users (click here for password requirements)
Teachers
- On the Login screen click Forgot Password? located below the Log In button.
- Type your username and click NEXT.
- Big Ideas Learning will email password reset instructions.
- Check the email associated with the account for an email from @larsontexts.com
- Please check your spam folder and that emails from that address are not being blocked.
- Click the hyperlink or paste the link provided into a browser.
- Check the email associated with the account for an email from @larsontexts.com
- Enter and confirm your new password and log in with the new credentials.
Students
- On the Login screen click Forgot Password? located below the Log In button.
- Type your username and click NEXT. If you do not remember your username, please contact your teacher.
- Your teacher will be sent a temporary password for you.
- Contact your teacher for your temporary password.
Teachers retrieving temporary passwords for students, please follow these steps:
- Forward the email from BIL Support with the temporary password to your student.
OR
- Go to Class Management from the teacher dashboard or the site menu.
- Temporary passwords for Active students can be found in the Temporary Password column on the right.
If a student is not actively enrolled in one of your classes but has requested a password reset, you can click the Password Requests in your Class Management screen to assist them.
